Guidelines for Registration
Please remind that the registration for the conference allows you to submit ONE abstract as a first author. Please note that abstract submission will not be possible if payment has not been made in advance. After the abstract submission deadline, you will be able to register, but abstract submission will be no longer possible. It will be also possible to pay on site the late fees.
The application that handles the payment supports credit/debit cards ONLY (VISA, VISA ELECTRON, MASTERCARD, MAESTRO, POSTEPAY). You will be taken through a standard checkout procedure and payment will be processed immediately. This will complete the registration process and abstract submission can begin.
This is a short guide to the steps that will bring you to the registration:
Registration page: please choose the registration type that better fits your interest.
Create an account page: please fill the form and choose a password.
Payment page: please prepare your credit card and follow the instructions on the screen. Please remember at the end of the process to press the button “Go back to the store”.
If you read a message on the screen that says that your payment was successful, congratulations, you are now registered to ECVP 2018
If you read a message on the screen that says that your payment was unsuccessful, this means that something went wrong in your payment. Please, check your credit card and press the “Registration” button to restart the registration process. If you logout, please remember that you will need to login again to restart the registration process.
IMPORTANT: Please, note that the system will fill automatically the abstract submission form with the personal data of the registrant as first author.
Once you are logged in, if in the page “my profile” à “registration info” the status is “Confirmed”, this means that you are successfully registered to ECVP 2018. You can then either view (left icon in the field view/print) or print (right icon in the field view/print) your bill. On the contrary, if your status is “Not confirmed”, this means that something went wrong in your payment. Please, check your credit card and press the “Registration” button to start again the registration process. If you logout, please remember that you will need to login again to restart the registration process.
Warning: the registration and the login procedures do not work under Safari iOS High Sierra, iPads and iPhones, because they all use as default privacy setting a system that prevents cross-site tracking
If you still want to use Safari, please follow the following instructions:
Mac iOS High Sierra:
In Safari -> “Safari” -> “Preferences" -> “General” -> “Privacy" -> "Website tracking" -> uncheck the box “prevent cross-site tracking”
iPad and iPhone:
In “Settings” app -> Safari” -> “Privacy & Security”-> disable “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” by tapping the slider (the toggle should turn from green to white)
This problem is due to the fact that our website actually uses two nested websites, that for functional reasons need to “talk” (i.e., exchange functional cookies) to each other.
Please turn it on again as soon as you have registered/logged in, because the system was made to protect you from third party’s unwanted tracking of your activity.
Alternatively, you can use other web browsers, i.e., Firefox, Google Chrome or Opera.
